Unable to record screen input in keyword tests

I turn on Show Mobile screen, and it mirrors what's displayed on my tablet (Samsung Tab S / SM-T700).

 

I create a new project, create a new empty test.  Then I click on Append To Test, and go through with tapping and swiping via the mouse on the mobile screen shown on the desktop.

 

I click on End Recording (the stop button)

 

The test steps only shows the following steps... Select Device

For what it's worth, nothing registers when tapping via the tablet itself

    Hi,

     

    If the actions are not recorded when you perform them on the Mobile Screen window, I would suggest creating a support case. Please attach us your non-instrumented Android app for investigation. Thanks!

      Sorry for the late response.  The holidays hit, and then I got slammed with assignments.

       

      What options for support are available for resolving this issue without submitting the APK?  I ask because I am NOT permitted to release the app.
