If the actions are not recorded when you perform them on the Mobile Screen window, I would suggest creating a support case. Please attach us your non-instrumented Android app for investigation. Thanks!

Sorry for the late response. The holidays hit, and then I got slammed with assignments.
What options for support are available for resolving this issue without submitting the APK? I ask because I am NOT permitted to release the app.

You may contact Support via the https://support.smartbear.com/message/?prod=TestComplete form and discuss possible options - this will be faster than via the forum.
What I know from my experience is that SmartBear considers NDA signing if you need it.
