Run Tests Headless

is it possible to run UI Tests headless?

I know it from selenium for example that I can run my web tests with headless browsers, which makes it like 10 times as fast.

best regards

Re: Run Tests Headless

TestComplete needs an interactive desktop to click on and interact with the UI components of the application under test.  So, in general, the answer is no.

Why automate?  I do automated testing because there's only so much a human being can do and remain healthy.  Sleep is a requirement.  So, while people sleep, automation that I create does what I've described above in order to make sure that nothing gets past the final defense of the testing group.

It depends  on your approach. If you communicate on protocoll- level you can run also headless. If you make GUI. Interactions you need it. This is the same way like selenium works
