For GIT, start here

For Zephyr, start here

If you have any specific problems once you've gone through the basic setup, let us know and we'll be glad to help.

Why automate?  I do automated testing because there's only so much a human being can do and remain healthy.  Sleep is a requirement.  So, while people sleep, automation that I create does what I've described above in order to make sure that nothing gets past the final defense of the testing group.

The question I have back to you is...

...does it work once you've done what those documents indicate?  Are you dealing with a specific problem? As far as I know, there's not a specific port that needs to be opened beyond what you already open for working with Zephyr and GIT outside of the TestComplete environment.  If you can get to those two services outside of TC, then they should work within TC.
