Why the last 10% of user always take longer?

Hi

I tried to have HTTP load test by rampup basis. I tested my page with 10, 20, 30, 40 and 50 vusers. I found that, the last 10% of user always take longer process time, as shown as attached image. Any ideas?

Thank you

    Chan,

It's difficult to determine what happened without knowing the ramp-up settings you used and the load task duration.

In the image, the difference between virtual users' work times doesn't look large. For instance, for 50 VUs the difference is about 5 seconds (in absolute values) or about 1.7%. I'd suppose this difference can be explained by a slower network connection or slower server processing of some VUs. Also, the server could process latter VUs longer than it processed earlier VUs because of the load increasing during the test run: so when the latter VUs started, there were earlier VUs still working with the server.
