One slave can not have two master

I have 3 PC all running TC 8.2 and they all have Identical project.



PC1 act as the master controlling PC3 (no issue here)

PC1 is no longer available/idle.



PC2 now try to be the master controlling PC3. I am unable to connect this way. When open PC3, I can see dos prompt flash for a brief second that some test complete service start/shutdown. After sometime PC2 report that it was not able to connect.



Does anyone have any idea how I can access the same slave from multiple Master? (not at the same time ofcourse)

    Hi Tien,





    PC2 now try to be the master controlling PC3. I am unable to connect this way.


    Please do the following:

    1. Make sure the TestComplete 8 service is running on PC3. Open the 'Control Panel | Administrative Tools | Services' window to check that.

    2. If the service isn't running on PC3, start it manually. Wait for a few minutes. Is the service running? If it is, check whether the issue persists.
