Private templates not selectable
It seems like when creating a new API, a custom template is not selectable if it's private. If I make the template public, it shows up as a custom template in the dropdown. I don't really see why a custom template would need to be public for it to be usable. In fact, I don't really see a reason for ever making a custom template public.
Is this behavior by design and if so what's the reason for this?
Hi @bjolletz, I tried this myself just now and if I create a new template, keep it private and then create a new API I can select it in the dropdown.
I think you should open a support ticket and have our support people look at this for you. I agree a template shouldn't be public for must people but I'm sure there is a business case for it.
