backwards compatiblity with 1.7.6

Hello,
I am using luntbuild to automate my testing process. I have deployed 1.7.6 on the luntbuild machine since it is a stable as compared to 2.01.

I have some testers who want to evaluate and script their next project using 2.01Beta.

Would I be able to run their 2.01 scripted project in luntbuild(soapUI 1.7.6) considering there are quite a few changes in 2.01.
