Is it possible to assert on external files in SoapUI Pro ?

I am running test cases which send a REST request to a webserver and which results in an xml file being generated and saved to a network directory. I want Soap to grab this xml file and then validate certain datapoints within the xml to what I sent in the original request. Is this possible to do in SoapUI Pro ?

Thanks

Re: Save an xml and validate data

Hey

This is very similar to another forum members issue. He also wants to identify a remote file, parse the contents to find a specific record to assert. See the following link. We're working currently to try and sort this.

if this helped answer the post, could you please mark it as 'solved'? Also if you consider whether the title of your post is relevant? Perhaps if the post is solved, it might make sense to update the Subject header field of the post to something more descriptive? This will help people when searching for problems. Ta
