I am using Test Complete 9.30, when i do Script recording - When i try to create LLP using Windows Co ordinates. Hi Sameer, TestComplete 9 doesn't support .NET Framework 4.5.1. This is the reason why your application isn't recognized properly. Support for this .NET Framework version is implemented in TestComplete 10.

Hi Sujatha, Your tested application isn't recognized properly by TestComplete for some reason. Try increasing the value of the Method invoke timeout project option. Refer to the "Project Properties - General Open Applications Options" article for details.

Hi Sujatha, I don't think that Name Mapping may affect the correct object recognition. The only thing that changed is that TestComplete stopped accessing test objects via mapped names. Please answer the following questions to help us better understand the issue: 1. What .NET Framework version is installed on your computer? 2. What. Hi Sameer,

TestComplete 9 doesn't support .NET Framework 4.5.1. This is the reason why your application isn't recognized properly.

Support for this .NET Framework version is implemented in TestComplete 10.

1. .Net frameowrk installed in the machine are 3.5,4.0 and 4.5

2. .Net Framework used to build the TestedApps are 4.0

For automation we use different path, in the sample bin - it creates onl exe of the application and it is placed in TestedApps. And it is invoked in the TestComplete project.

Hi,

I am facing the same issue at my end.

For my WPF application, WPF object is identified as window object in below way on windows 7 operating system

Sys.Process("XXXXXXXXXXX").Window("HwndWrapper[XXXXXXXXXX.exe;MainConsole;59dea4ac-644b-49ea-b35c-e0cb1fdf46e8]", "New YYYYYYY", 1)

On windows XP it is showing properly as WPF window

But Order application is showing correctly WPF Objects

Sys.Process("Orders").WPFObject("HwndSource: MainForm")

Environment of machine is:

Test Complete 9.0

O.S - Windows 7 64 bit

.Net Framework: 4.5.1

Is there any way that test complete can use .Net framework 4.0 if .Net framework 4.5 is installed on the machine.
