WPF Application crahes when trying use object browser or object spy

I have a WPF application inhouse at work and was currently looking at using TestComplete to automate some tests. There are tests already being automated by my collegues on their Laptops and they are not facing any of the issues I am. Whenever I try to view the objects in "Object Browser" or use "Object Spy" my WPF application either hangs (sometimes the pc hangs) or it closes. I tried running some scripts that were written by others in my group and the same thing happens. I alredy have WPF Control Support checked under Extensions. My colleges have a different laptop compared to mine (example: I have a 640bit OS, SSD,  i7 processor whereas my collegues have a 32-bit OS, HDD, i5 processor). I am attaching my system information as well. Please let me know if there are known fixes for what I am facing as it is hindering my progress in doing automation for the project.

    Hi Kishan,


     


    Make sure that you are using the latest TestComplete version - 9.20.

    Try applying the tips from the article.
