Windows Touch Screen

Hello Every One!

 

I am working with Windows Touch interfaces but I cant use the event touch such as Mobile devices. Does someone know if it is posible to simulate toch in touch screen or It is only for  mobile devices ?

 

I am using test complete V 11.20

    Hello,

     

    I'm also very interessed by this topic.

    We are currently testing a software that will exclusively be handled by touch screen on windows 10.

    Does someone please tell us how can we simulate touch actions with a desktop application?

     

    We are using TestComplete V12.12

      The "touch" method as it is in TC 11 and 12 is only for use within mobile environments as I understand it.

       

      I'm not familiar enough with touch based windows applications to know for sure, but in the Windows OS, don't mouse clicks simulate the same functionality?

        Yes it is, according to my manual user experience with touch screen on Win 8.

        I am not sure that LongTouch action exists for Windows touch screens, so I also expect that mouse clicks and drags should be enough.
