Windows 8 compatibility?

Any word on this? Consumer Preview is now out.

SmartBear is a Microsoft partner, and we have supported all versions of their OS since Win 98. We have started working on support for Windows 8 as the first public beta became available, and we plan to release it after the official release of Windows 8 by Microsoft.



If you want to try TestComplete on Windows 8 right now, please contact us to learn how this can be done.

while we have not yet started a Beta program for Win 8 support in TestComplete, TestComplete 9 actually includes Beta support for both Win 8 and Internet Explorer 10. I suggest that you start with TC9 and let us know how it goes.



Please note that TC9 does not support Metro applications at this point.

I got HASP License Manager to install on Windows 8 by launching the Test Complete installer in Windows 7 compatibility mode.

I am working on licenced Test Complete 7 and i need to know whether the testcomplete 7 can work well in windows 8 or not.if not, please let me know what to do.

I tried Installing Test Complete 7 in Windows 8 system, it got installed but unable to open the test Complete Tool.

Please Let me know if smartbear can provide any patches that can help me work with TC7 in Windows 8.
