That's weird. I suggest that you contact the TestComplete Support team to investigate the behavior.
Also, you may check whether you see the same issue in TestComplete 10. If you haven't updated to the newest product version yet, you can try the trial version that can be requested here: http://smartbear.com/products/qa-tools/automated-testing-tools/
