Hi Kamal
I am using Testcomplete 10.60, so I would like to have one of the latest supported versions of Chrome, the 43 or the 42.
Do you know any secure website where to get them?
Thanks

Hi Gabrielg,
As a rule, we create product patches for the latest browser versions. They can be installed automatically (when starting TestComplete, you will be asked about this) or you can download the needed patch from here http://support.smartbear.com/downloads/testcomplete/chrome-patches/ and install it manually.

Hi Gabriel
What you need is the chromestandalonesetup.exe for whatever version of Chrome you need. Chrome only makes it available for the newest version, and it is very difficult to find online when a newer version of Chrome has been put out, so you need to save it from Google for safe-keeping while it is still the newest version. If you are desperate (and you trust me, which is usually a bad idea:smileyvery-happy:), I have 41 and 43, and will be able to mail it to you or similar. But it would be nice if the ubiquitous Mr. Someone Else would solve the problem for all of us and set up a secure website where you could get older versions, as you suggest. (I am not volunteering).

This comes up ALL the time!
I used to download the standalone installer for a working version and store it. (Still do, just in case)
But have a look here:

Alex's post (#3) is what you want. Disable auto-update properly (finally!). Then you can update when YOU want. So you can be sure TC has the appropriate patch before you upgrade.
As I said on that thread. It should be a sticky somewhere. It's incredibly useful (as it actually works, unlike all the other suggestions to stop Chrome auto-updating) and it would stop questions like this coming up all the time ....
