aqEnvironment.SetKeyboardLayout always return false
Hi I am trying to testmultiple languages in our application and in order to do that i am trying touse theaqEnvironment.SetKeyboardLayout() method. The problem is that I get always false as the return, and i dont get to change the imput method. Even if a try the following example from the manual, the line withSetKeyboardLayout returns always false, and USEnglish is not set. Any idea what i have to do to make itwork? Thanks function IsLanguageSupportedExample() { Win32API.WinExec("notepad.exe", SW_NORMAL); var wNotepad = Sys.Process("notepad"); var EditForm = wNotepad.Window("Notepad", "Untitled - Notepad", 1).Window("Edit", "", 1); var USEnglish = 0x0409; if (aqEnvironment.IsLanguageSupported(USEnglish)) { aqEnvironment.SetKeyboardLayout(wNotepad.Id, USEnglish) EditForm.Keys("Hello!"); } else { Log.Message("The specified language is not supported."); } }1.4KViews0likes3CommentsRegions.FindRegion makes Testcomplete to stop execution without any information why
Hi, I have developed an script extension to work with keyword tests. In that script I use the Regions.FindRegion method. Today, I don't know why, it 's failing all the time when I try to use it with a new Region. Debugging the script testcomplete has crashed twice today. For some reason, when the execution gets to that line, the execution stops, and it does not show any information in the log. I tried a try-catch but nothing, the executiong just stops, evenif i disable the "Stop on Error"checkbox for the current project. There could be a limit for the number of Regions stored in a current project? Any clue? Thanks in advanced, Gabriel.751Views0likes1CommentRe: Cannot focus a disabled or invisible window
Hi Tanya, I am getting this same error trying toset the focus on aTcxMemo component; the component is sometimesenabled, and sometimes not, sometimes works and sometimes not. I set the component's Enabled property to truebefore, but it seems is not working. Any workaround to work with a tcxMemo component?6KViews0likes2CommentsRe: Testexecute stops running
No, no way I am working With TestExecute via COM, but in the last versions when I do what follows I am not getting any result from the integrationObject (in fact doesnt get to that line either). So I dont have much to check to know why Testexecute suddenly stops with that project. IntegrationObject.RunProject(projectName); // Wait until the test run is over while (IntegrationObject.IsRunning()){ WScript.Sleep(100); } // Check the results switch(IntegrationObject.GetLastResultDescription().Status) {951Views0likes1CommentTestexecute stops running
Hi, I have a project which alfter 1 hour and twenty minutes, 1 hours and 30 minutes, 1 hour and 40 minutes, randomly, always stops. There is no error in the log. There is no information in the event viewer. The screen saver is disabled in the machine. I thought it could be because i was passing a lot of information between testitems, in the form of a project variable of Object Type, so I changed it to store that information in a json file, but that didnt do anything, and my project continues to stops without any information of why. Any ideas ?990Views0likes3CommentsWhere to get the latest version of Google Chrome supported by Testcomplete
Since Testcomplete doesn't support the latest version of Google Chrome, wouldn't be a good idea from Smartbear to include a link where you can download the latest version supportted for both Google Chrome and Firefox? For Firefox it's easy: https://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/releases/ But what about Chrome?2.5KViews0likes5Comments
