what is the best approach bewteen find and extended find in Testcomplete for WPF application testing

 

The main difference is that the Extended Find feature can be used only for mapped objects, while the Find method is oriented for object-recorded scripts.

Both of them are used when it's impossible to identify parents of the desired object for sure. Extended Find allows setting up the needed object hierarchy visually in the Name Mapping editor.
