What are all the citrix environment supports for Test Complete 9, 10 and 11??

Hi,

I have developed the scripts in test complete 9 , 10 and 11, when i tried to execute in citrix environment which publised through web. it's not executing

 

Object name of the application is displaying as differently unrelevent to application object...how to overcome this problem??.

 

Any plugin's available to solve this issue and also i wan to know whether test complete 9, 10 and 11 will support for citrix?

    Hi,

     

    TestComplete can access and control tested application only when both of them are installed on the same machine. So, if I got your problem right, you must install both TestComplete and the tested application on the system that is exposed using citrix and use them from within your citrix session. Exactly like you do when accessing something via remote desktop.

      Which means i want install both test complete and test application in same machine and then i have to publish both through citrix environment(web).

       

      Please correct me if my understanding wrong.

        Hi Saran,

         

        You are correct about installation. Not sure about publishing as I never administered Citrix, but I think that this is correct as well.

        As a final result: when the user starts his/her remote session, both TestComplete and the tested application must run within this session and TestComplete must be able to communicate with the tested application directly, but not through some Citrix protocol or the like.
