Using TestComplete with CEF3 and Xilium

Hi,



I am working on a web application runs under CEF3 (Chromium Embedded Framework), which is a win form.

I am trying to evaluate testcomple if it identifies the objects inside the winform. Till now I did succeeded to idntify the objects (buttons, attributes ..) inside the main form.



Can you please tell me if is there any way to use the testcomplete to develop automation tests for CEF3?

    Hi Samir,


     


    Chromium Embedded Framework is not supported in the current version. We have a suggestion to implement support for it - I've increased the suggestion's rating with your request.

    I cannot tell you for sure when or whether the support for Chromium Embedded Framework will be added to TestComplete.


    I've added your vote to the suggestion. When the rating of the suggestion will be high, our team will consider adding this feature.

    We also use CEF 3 in our application. It would be great if TestComplete is fully support CEF3.

    I currently work with CEF3 by using Winform as well. I really appreciate if it could be fully support CEF3 :)



    I would like to vote for CEF3 in Test Complete.
