Unable to test embedded java / AWT application

SmartBear support has confirmed this issue is due to the version of JRE I was running (the latest).



The issue exists with JRE 7 u55 and greater, and JRE 8 u5 and later.

I uninstalled java and then installed JRE 8.0 and turned off updates.

This has temporarily resolved the issue for now (until I have to update JRE)
