I am using TC 11.11 or greater version. iOS version 8.3(12f16). I have a scenario where I need to click on home button in the device using JScript in TC or minimise the running iOS application.
Is there a way to achive the same.

TestComplete cannot emulate the pressing of the Home button on iOS devices. I recommend that you submit this implementation in our Feature Request forum - http://community.smartbear.com/t5/TestComplete-Feature-Requests/idb-p/TestXCompleteFeatureRequests
Other community members could vote for this idea, and, if it gets many votes, our R&D Team can consider its implementation.

As a possible workaround: will it help if the Back button is pressed in a loop until the main window of the tested application is visible on the screen?
This approach worked for me on Android several years ago...
