unable to perform action on OpenEdge proBrowser object
Hi,
Our application is developed on OpenEdge tool. I am able to work on many of the objects like buttin, editbox or radio button. But test complete unable to retrieve the values for ProBrowser object.
Can anyone here guide me how can i automate Probrowser object?
I need verify the records desiplayed by the probrowser and selecta record.

I guess that the problematic control is Browse Widget Control developed by OpenEdge, right? We have tried to test this control in our lab, and found one possible (but not very simple) way to work with the cells of the grid. This can be done by using the Text Recognition feature of TestComplete. This functionality allows getting the text of every cell as a separate object with on-screen coordinates. All the text objects become children of the grid's object.
Our TestComplete Customer Care team has a set of scripting functions that provides the ability to get the text of an arbitrary cell, as well as click a cell by its column and row index. Please contact them to get it.
