Our application has a "current version" support policy for Chrome and Firefox, so I would want to know as soon as possible if the latest browser update causes problems in our application. The ideal situation in my mind would be that both SmartBear and I have development branches--special dev version patches for TestComplete/TestExecute and my tests running on dev releases of the web browsers. Probably a little "pie in the sky"...
Some day I hope to have a lot more options for automated testing platforms, but right now, I get one physical machine and whatever browser version is installed on it.
