Unable to connect to the Android Emulator

Hi,

I am new to Test Complete. I was trying to connect to Android emulator , but after some time connection fails.

I am using Win 7 -Inter Core2 duo processor. I have configured Java n installed Android SDK.

But I was not able to install intel HAXM.exe due to my system limitations. is it mandatory to have these installed as my system, for Test complete to connect to Android emulator?

    Hi Bhawani,

     


    We recommend using HAXM. However, if it's impossible in your case, you can try using ARM instead of HAXM. There is no need to install additional tolls in this case. Choose the following option in the AVD Manager window:




     


    There may be some performance issues when using this approach, though.
