thread creation error

Hi,

I carried out a load test in TestComplete which was supposed to last for two days. However, I came to an error about 5 hours later. The massage is like this:

An exception occurred in the "Unit1" unit at line 7:

Thread creation error: Not enough storage is available to process this command

I don't know what's the problem,is that something to do with my computer?

  • Hi,

The problem seems to be caused by the insufficient RAM size.

    1. Try using the latest version of TestComplete (ver. 7.52) that has some improvements in the HTTP Load Testing feature.

    2. Make sure that before TestComplete is launched, there are at least 2 Gb of free RAM available. If possible, try increasing the RAM size on the PC to achieve this.

    3. Try reducing the amount of virtual users involved in the test.

    4. Try splitting the Load Testing task into several smaller tasks and execute them as individual Test Items.

I have an Intel i3-2120CPU @3.30GHz and 8GB RAM and I also get this error on TestComplete 7.52

How can I fix this problem?

    Hi Cosmin,

Do you try to execute an HTTP load test? If you do, have you tried applying David's advice? What were the results?
