Hello,not sure if this can help but I found the issue might be related with Mark of The Web (MoTW).mht/mhtml files opens without any issue if you Unblock the file: MoTW.png You can also leave the file Blocked and set the Edge flag "#edge-internet-explorer-integration-block-with-motw" to Disabled: Edge_flags_MoTW.png I'm looking for a quick solution to apply the cfg on all Windows devices.Maybe adding the URL to "Safe zone".Thanks,Andrea

i opened the link in your post where it lists the following instructions dhundley_0-1686313689186.png i completed steps 1 through 3 but there is no "Configure Internet Explorer Integration" in the list of Settings that i can double click on in step 4. dhundley_2-1686313779135.png the image above shows the user configuration. the computer configuration looks exactly the same. i'm still able to view the mht files but i'm having to do it with Internet Explorer directly, not Edge. i went into settings > apps > default apps > choose default apps by file type and selected Internet Explorer for the mht and the mhtml file types. dhundley_3-1686314075301.png i don't see this as being a smartbear issue, however, so i sent this same information to microsoft yesterday but haven't heard anything from them.

i brought up the properties on one of my mht files and the checkbox is not checked. thanks anyway for the suggestion. looks like i'm just stuck with IE for the time being.

Hello,just an update.I forgot to mention that the .mhtml file is being downloaded from our Intranet (mydomain.lan).So I solved this by simply adding "mydomain.lan" as Intranet Zone (1) to "Site to Zone Assignment List" under "Computer Configuration", "Policies", "Administrative Templates", "Windows Components", "Internet Explorer", "Internet Control Panel", "Security Page":Intranet Zone - 1.png After a GPO refresh the downloaded file no longer shows "Unblock" and the .mhtml file opens within MS Edge.Hope this helps.Thanks,Andrea

I'm using Version 114.0.5735.91 (Official Build) (64-bit) - shown in the previous response.

I export my logs using HTML via /ExportLog parameter

There're two steps required to configure IE mode:
Configure Internet Explorer integration
Redirect sites from Microsoft Edge to IE mode

On my company laptop, I have Microsoft Edge - Policies setup by IT, I can open MHT files without issues, I can also toggle the settings too.

However, on my home computer which has the latest version of Windows 10, which doesn't have Internet Explorer, I'm not able to load MHT files - which is not an issue!
