The extension for Chrome is not where it's supposed to be.

TestComplete Version: 10.30.1303.7

 

I went to the following page to find out  how to reinstall the Chrome extension.

The page says that I can get the Chrome extension from this location:

<Program Files>\<Common Files>\SmartBear\tcCrExtension\<alphanumeric_ID>

 

However there is no "tcCrExtension" directory in the SmartBear directory on my machine. When I enter it into the search for my machine I get no results.  How can I get the extension file if it's not in the directory defined?

    Hi,

     

    First idea: are you looking in the correct Program Files folder? The case is that if you are on the 64-bit OS, then you must look in the 'Program Files (x86)' folder, but not in the 'Program Files' one.

     

    If the above does not help, I would recommend to deinstall TestComplete (do not unregister license if prompted, just uninstall TC itself) and install it a-new.
