Are 'Caption' and 'wText' object properties reading part of the "Standard" TestComplete Version or we need the "Enterprise" with the 'Text Recognition' Plugin? Can I try this plugin on my trial...

You can, but you can't use TextRecognition. "Caption" and "wText" are object properties. "Caption", I believe, is available for almost all objects in an application. wText may only be available for objects of "Open" applications. These two properties are unrelated to TextRecognition. TextRecognition is used to identify objects, not by their code object properties, but simply by the visible text on screen.
