TestComplete:: Object Spy not functioning.

Hi,

Object spy is unable to detect the flex objects .

It reproduces for my colleagues as well after 5-6 days of insatllation of trial version of Test complete ,Object Spy stop functioning , also it is leaving the test complete tool in hang state once we are selecting the Object  Spy from the tool bar



Please let me know the troubleshooting steps for making Object Spy to  function properly.

    Hi Astha,

     


    As far as I understand, the issue starts persisting only after using TestComplete for several days, right? Check whether you set additional MSAA or UI Automation options in your project that can slow down the recognition process (for example, if you enable the * item).
