To those who face similar issues, I'm posting the answer we gave Ashwini within the support case she submitted:



Automatic patching of Silverlight applications is unavailable if you work with your application via HTTPS (see the "Preparing Silverlight Applications for Testing" help topic). If you use HTTPS, you need to patch your application manually on the server.
