TestComplete error "Script execution was interrupted"

Hi,



I am executing tests on LabManager using TC/TE 8.60.

A testcase and all after that failed with following error

-------------------------------------------------

"Script execution was interrupted"

Possible reasons:

- An error or warning occurred during the test run. See
the preceding log entries to locate and identify the error.

- The test run
was stopped manually.

- The test run was terminated as a result of the
Runner.Halt method call.

-------------------------------------------------



The previous testcase is passed. I did not stopped/interrupted the execution manually.

What would be possible cause of this failure?

    Hi Jared,



    Tests do not simulate Global shortcuts.

    Hi,



    In this case, check preceding log message for errors and warnings as it is, by the way, suggested in the 'Additional info' section of the error you get.

    Immediatly preceding testcase passed without error.

    Sometimes, few tests show following error message making following tests to fail

    -----------------------------------------------------

    Cannot run the remote project./Network error. Probably, the remote application has been terminated.    Failed to invoke an object. Reason: timeout expired

    Hi,



    So, the problem is actually related to a failing network test. What versions of TC are installed on your master and slave machines? Also, can you zip your project (both the master and slave parts) which fails along with logs and send it to us?

    Was this issue resolved? If yes, what was the resolution? I am experiencing the same issue. We are using TestComplete version 8.6 running on a Windows XP SP3 pc.


    I have not had a successful playback. When “run test” is invoked, an Exception is thrown. The Additional Information section has Member Not Found.


    The next error is "The test execution was interrupted."  The Additional Information section has:

     - The test run was terminated as a result of the Runner.Halt method call.

    Hi,



    No the issue was not resolved.

    I am too using 8.60 version of TC and TE.



    I have observed that the error occurs when you have more than 2/3 slaves.

    Install TC 8.70. If the problem still occurs, send us the information I mentioned in my previous posts.

    How do I install TC 8.70? Is it free ?

    Is it compatible with TE 8.6, because my slaves are running TE 8.6.
