Testcomplete does not react after pushing the record button

I have a trial version  of testcomplete 15.42.9.7 x86
After opening testcomplete and pushing the record button the system won't react.

 

Is this because of the latest update ? Or: "In taskmanagement I see that 32bit of Testcomplete has started, but also TChookx64.exe (and not TChookx86.exe I would expect) , maybey that is the problem ?

  • I would try uninstalling and reinstalling TestComplete.

    I would start by reviewing the differences between TestComplete 32/64 and see if your system meets the specifications [TestComplete reference] - Have you been able to run the record/playback prior to updating to 15.42.9.7?

      Thank you for your suggestion; I reinstalled the software and that was the solution
