Testcomplete 9: Extremely slow test execution

The performance issue has not gone away in Version 9.1. My execution times are still doubled compared to running my tests with 8.7. I've had to uninstall 9.1 again and re-install 8.7 and the problem goes away. My case should NOT be closed.
