Testcomplete 8 using connected apps via c#.net is very slow

Hi,

I am using testcompete 8 via C#.net to test a wpf dev express based application.

The testcomplete execution is really really slow at times.



Any pointers

    Hi Savio,


    As far as I know, using connected applications may slow down the test execution a little bit.


    However, if the test execution is really slow (as you say), please clarify a few moments:

    1. What do you mean when you say "at times"? What factors do affect it?

    2.

    The testcomplete execution is really really slow at times.


    With which execution speed do you compare? In other words, relative to which test is the performance much slower?

    Well where its trying to get the properties from a object or setting values, its very slow



    Slow,at least it should take fraction of seconds sometimes it takes 4 to 5 seconds to perform actions

    Due to which the entire execution is really slow, so much as my superiors are not happy with the performance.

    Please, do one more thing. Run your test directly from TestComplete. Does it run much faster than when it is run from connected applications?
