We tested how TestComplete works under Windows x64 with the beta version of Internet Explorer 9 installed and failed to find any problems. So, the problem doesn't seem to be related to this version of the browser.
To help us investigate the problem, please follow the steps below:
1. Download Process Explorer - the tool to work with processes in your system.
2. Install the tool and run it.
3. When the hanging occurs, wait for about 5 minutes to make sure that TestComplete is hanging.
4. Right-click the TestComplete process in the process tree of the Process Explorer, select 'Create Dump | Create Minidump...' and save the memory dump to a file.
5. Wait for a minute and execute step 4 again to get another dump file.
6. Send us the generated dump files directly via the Contact Support form.
