Test Complete doesnt playback script

My Test Complete tool records scripts or keyword tests, but there is no activity on Playing them back. The playback simply brings up an empty log.

What i suspect :
Might be a licensing problem,
the tool is a trail version which i activated with the code through mail, but it doesn't prompt me with the trial period notification when i start the tool.

    It's unlikely that this behavior is related to the licensing somehow. How do you start executing your test? There are several ways to do this: run the whole project, press F5, select Run Current Routine from the context menu in the Script editor, etc. Each method may run different tests. Make sure that you are running the correct test.
