Test Complete 9 - Web Testing - Help - Hover over a tab to display sub-menu
As a novice user, I have a couple of issues with Web Testing.
This issue, is that the web site being tested has menu options, which when you hover the mouse over, displays a sub-menu. For example if you navigate to
http://www.thetimes.co.uk/tto/news/
then hover over the Title "Opinion" a sub title appears
I understand that Test Complete cannot record this action of hovering over a 'tab' to open a sub menu. Is there anyway around this?
At present my automated testers have put in a workaround that requires user to do this manually.
