First of all, please make sure that your application is prepared properly according to the Preparing for Testing Mobile Applications help topic - https://support.smartbear.com/testcomplete/docs/app-testing/mobile/preparing.html
After, please make sure that the control you test is in the list of the supported ones. You can find the full list here: https://support.smartbear.com/testcomplete/docs/general-info/supported-technologies/controls/xamarin-forms.html
In case the control isn’t supported, it’s worth playing with Object Mapping to make TestComplete treat the control as a supported one.
