TC hangs when spying to an inactive object

Question

I am so frustrated the way TC behaves when it cannot find the object that you highlighted in name mapping. It always hangs and I needed to reboot my application & worst even TC to continue. There are times that object properties changed while running the test and when it happened, I am unable to continue. I tried **bleep** F2 or esc to stop the process but it didn't work. I need to end the application, end TC and worst shutdown my machine. I appreciate your reply/assistance on this.

Which version of TC are you running? I know there fixed some issues with object identification causing test complete to hang.&nbsp;Also, what type of application? Your question is rather vague. &nbsp;
