TC 12.3 Distributive Testing: Verify Slave Hosts fails
Win7 - 64bit - TC 12.3 being used:
TestComplete Users/Community,
I have been using TestComplete for many years now and I am finally getting a chance to look
into using Distributive Testing.
I have an automation infrastructure of physical desktops and some VMs that I use.
For the time being, I have pulled up the Distributive Testing Demo and Tutorial to try to setup a working example.
Following what appears to be an out dated Tutorial, and guessing on what I need to fill in under my Slave project
for the Hosts, I am getting the dreaded 'Verification failed' : Unable to create a user session on the remote computer.
I have the following filled out:
Name
Address: contains an IP#
Login Mode: Automatic (RDP Session)
Domain: filled out
User name: filled out
Password: filled out
I have gone through the Verification Failed. problems With User Accounts many times.
I am missing one little piece to configure something here to get this to Verify so I can proceed. :(
I believe all the ports are correct that need to be used.
I have used:
- ProcessExplorer.exe for some of this port verification
- netstat used
- checking the WinReg locations
- Group Policy checks
When performing the Verify, if logged into the remote physical desktop, I am logged off
so something is happening at this point.
I have used VNC to watch the physical desktop at the Ctrl-Alt-Del window screen to log in
when performing the Verify action.
No action seen on the part of what Verify is suppose to do.
I can log into the auto physical desktop which I mainly use for TestComplete execution.
Can someone please provide me with some guidance here on what I could be missing or other items to check?
The only last mystery that could be there is something on the company network blocking me???
I don't think this is the case, but a possibility.
Regards,
Hi James,
Try with-
Login Mode: Manual
and check.
