Support for AIR3.7 Applications


Hi Team, We are using Testcomplete recently upgraded to version 9.2. Few questions




  1. To follow the steps given in the below link, Does testcomplete needs to be installed on developer machine?http://support.smartbear.com/viewarticle/28129/

     

     


  2. Does Testcomplete supports AIR3.7 applications. If so which swc file has to be included from the below




  • AIRClient.swc - the automated testing library for Flex SDK v. 3.3 and 3.4.


  • AIRClient35.swc - the automated testing library for Flex SDK v. 3.5.


  • AIRClient4.swc - the automated testing library for Flex SDK v. 4.0, 4.1, 4.5 and 4.6

    Hi Kiranbabu,


     


    TestComplete shouldn't be installed on the developer machine. What you need to do is to copy the needed library from <TestComplete>\Open Apps\Flex to the computer where the app is developed and recompile it.


     


    As for the helper library you need to use, it depends on the version of SDK used in your app. 3.7 is the version of AIR Runtime, not SDK.
