Stuck on Update message

Hi all, I cant get rid off this update button. I cant update it or cancel it or anything else. i don't get any options, please see screenshot. Is there are a way to kill it or do an update manual...

    If you download the executable, it will detect that there is a previous version already installed and will execute an update instead of a re-install.

So am I pretty much have to reinstall the whole thing?
