Starting from zero :)

Question

Starting from the zero so all hints are very much valued :).

I have a scenario of first connecting to server through authentication, then transfer a file from my own computer to server and then run executable file on the server after which I would query some tables and add checkpoints to it.

Got connection open and I think I am ok with running the queries with sql but little stuck with file transfer and execution, any hints for those?

Can client do e.g. HTTP post? Could use that one I guess for file transfering.
