Silverlight support

Greetings,



My attempt at setting up Silverlight in TC 7.50 failed. I am unable to replicate the object tree found within Help; "Testcomplete Silverlight Applications with TestComplete". My settings include:



- Open Applications Properties

 > UI Automation

    ATL*:

    MicrosoftSilverlight

    MozillaWindowClass



- Extensions Installed

 > .NET Open Application Support

 > UI Automation Support Plug-in



I have apparently missed something.  Thanks in advance for your help.

    Hello Joseph,




    In additional to the help topic you specified, I recommend that you go through the "Preparing Silverlight Applications for Testing" help topic. If this doesn't help, could you please send us a simple application (not the one you are testing) demonstrating the problem via our Contact Support Form (http://www.automatedqa.com/support/message/)?




    BTW, the latest version of TestComplete is version 7.51.

    Hello Alex,



    Thanks for the reply.  Tech Support established my issue was a "user setup error".



    1. Select the "Open Applications | Process Filter" node and choose the "Use all processes" item from the "Process filter mode" drop-down list.

    2. Remove the "*" and "MicrosoftSilverlight" items from the "Open Applications | MSAA" node.

    3. Remove mapped objects from the Name Mapping scheme.

    4. Save the project.
