Significance and utilization of "Sender" parameter to GeneralEvents_OnStopTest(Sender)

After reading up a little bit, the type of sender in this case would be an Event Control (http://support.smartbear.com/viewarticle/56944/) and if you could instanciate it by its class id (which isn't shown anywhere AFAIK), you would have access to 4 methods that would allow you to attach or detach handlers to or from that same object that just fired the event. It could be mildly useful i guess, for example if you wanted to implement a "restart from where it last failed" feature in your scripting project...
