Schedulled tasks for TE can't start because TE is already running

Hello,



I have 2 schedulled tasks for TestExecute an a VM:

  - first one is to run an installer and then do a VM restart; it executes successfully.

  - the second one can't start because test execute is already running. I don't understand why would TE be running after the VM restart. 



Can anyone advice on how to resolve this problem? How can I close TE, if it is already running, before my schedulled task starts?

Would /SilentMode option fix this? I'll try this next.

    I'd check your settings in the "use previous instance" column for the job. It should be able reuse the TE instance if you want it to. Also TE shouldn't be starting on VM restart unless the machine has been specifically setup to do that. I'd manually restart the VM and then see if TE is started.
