Regions Checkpoint Update Check

Hi,



I have a set of regions checkpoint. Sometimes I need to check the 'update' option. But I do that only when Im writing scritps..



When the real test must be executed, is there a script way to guarantee that those update checkbox are not checked?

    Hi Denio,


     


    Let me quote the "Compare Method" article:


    The Compare method also lets you update the stored image during the script execution. TestComplete does this if the update feature is enabled, that is if both the global Update files option and the stored image’s Update option are checked.


     


    Thus, even if the check boxes in the Region panel will be enabled, but none of the Tools | Options | Engines | Stores | Perform the following actions instead of comparing options is checked, TestComplete shouldn't update your checkpoints.
