Record UI button disabled in Xcode

Hi All very quick question I am doing automated testing for my app on xcode using the UI automation The record UI button is disabled cannot rectify please help its urgent

thanks for the reply

but my company is using xcode 7 and want me to use UI automation

I did this earlier but now for some reason the record UI button is greyed out

not sure what is the problem
