If I use Click() or ClickButton(), it clicks the box with the dotted border. This button is a split button therefore composed of 2 parts separated by a divider line. One part is the normal button click (box with dotted border) and the other part is the drop-down button arrow (note the button screenshot attached earlier). With Click(), I can only select the first part.
Have you found a way to click on the down arrow of the split button? We have the same in our application and Im looking for a way to automate.
Ours is a desktop app too..

First of all excuse me for the non-reply to the message above. I missed it out for the some reason.
What I would suggest is to ask developers about the implementation of the mentioned element (arrow button) and try to add the class name of this element to the Object Mapping - https://support.smartbear.com/testcomplete/docs/testing-with/object-identification/improving/mapping.html
Also check what Qt version is used in your app. May be you'll need to download a specific module for testing it - https://support.smartbear.com/downloads/testcomplete/qt-modules/
