And also ListArea control is used to insert one or more Elements to the List box.
For Example: You can input a value to the text control. Then it this both values will get assigned to the List Box.
ListValue1 ListValue2
So, Again What are you trying perform with this Object and If you post your AUT object sceernshot will helpful to understand the object type
I am sorry, I made a mistake I actually sent the object itself. getModel Method did not work on the object.

That's Okay..
1. The object you trying[GIndexedCollectionControl$ListArea] is Text based control.
2. If you want to get the Rows and Columns then you have to use *****.SwingObject("genericTableControl") this object.
Let us know what are trying to achieve with this control.

Well, as we can see, the object looks like a table.
What I want to do is to be able to retrieve data from cells to recognize which row i am currently working on.
How can i achieve this?
thanks.

*****.SwingObject("genericTableControl") this can be used to retrieve the table values.

It seems like the property we see in the object property changes depending on the type of data I am mapping the control. I have mapped the control as a list and what i see in the object's property changed, with stuff like separator, etc.
The thing is, these field are empty, and TestComplete, for some reason allow me to map them.
So this does not really tell is, what kind of control that is...
is there any ways for us to know for certain the control type?
thank you.
